Life comes at you fast. Sorry for the delay.

4-1 last week. The year comes to 44-31-1.

  1. Michigan Wolverines (10-0) This Week: -19 @ Maryland (6-4): So Michigan finally has the win to justify their number-one ranking, even though they’ve been the best team for a while now. Good to see. Jim Harbaugh and the university ‘accepting’ the suspension posed is not great to see for the Wolverines. However, stop me if you’ve heard this before, I don’t think it will matter. This three game suspension will be served during: the biggest look-ahead spot EVER this week (the game will be close with or without Jim), the game vs. Ohio and the (eventual?) B10 Championship game. Dare I say that all the NCAA/B10/America did was anger a sleeping giant? I’m very close. If the price was better I’d be on Michigan to win the #Natty!
  1. Georgia Bulldogs (10-0) This Week: -10 @ Tennessee (7-3): The Dogs are rounding into form! Lane Train’s porous defense stood no chance; and the always daunting Georgia defense looked as sharp as ever. Rocky Top is never an easy place to play; but I’m not entirely sure the Vols can even keep it close. Kirby vs. Saban for the SEC Championship is going to be AWESOME.
  1. Ohio State Buckeyes (10-0) This Week: -27.5 vs. Minnesota (5-5): As mentioned above, and definitely applies here too: this is the look-ahead game of all look-ahead games. PJ Fleck and the Gophers really don’t pose much of a threat to close personal friend Cryin’ Ryan Day (stolen, I wish I came up with it) and his team. Plain and simple? I don’t think Kyle McCord has enough to keep Ohio State in the game against Michigan. I think that Michigan’s defense will prove to be far too much for Ohio too handle. I could be wrong; but this feels like possibly the most hullabaloo that a Michigan/Ohio State game has had around it in quite some time. Soon enough, sports fans!
  1. Washington Huskies (10-0) This Week: +2.5 @ Oregon State (8-2):
  1. Oregon Ducks (9-1) This Week: -23.5 @ Arizona State (3-7):
  1. Alabama Crimson Tide (9-1) This Week: Line N/A vs. Chattanooga (7-3):
  1. Florida State Seminoles (10-0) This Week: Line N/A vs. North Alabama (3-7):
  1. Texas Longhorns (9-1) This Week: -7.5 @ Iowa State (6-4):
  1. Oregon State Beavers (8-2) This Week: -2.5 vs. Washington (10-0): To quote the Bean Man: “I love when they tell us who’s going to win.”
  1. Louisville Cardinals (9-1) This Week: PK @ Miami FL (6-4):
  1.  Penn State Nittany Lions (8-2) This Week: -20.5 vs. Rutgers (6-4): If Oklahoma State did anything besides get their doors absolutely blown off, Penn State would have been in the shame spot. In pretty typical James Franklin fashion, his offense was non-existent in a big spot. After watching Penn State lose to Ohio State; most ball-knowers could sniff last week’s result out pretty easily. But hey, I’m not really here to pump my own tires. I am pretty close to the top of the Rutgers Fan Club list; and I see how bad the spot is. Coach Franklin may not be able to compete offensively with the big boys; but he knows how to cover a big number. #Think about it.
  1. Ole Miss Rebels (8-2) This Week: -37 vs. UL Monroe (2-8):
  1. Missouri Tigers (8-2) This Week: -11.5 vs. Florida (5-5):
  1. LSU Tigers (7-3) This Week: -31 vs. Georgia State (6-4):
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (7-3) This Week: -24.5 vs. Wake Forest (4-6):
  1. Utah Utes (7-3) This Week: +1 @ Arizona (7-3):
  1. Oklahoma Sooners (8-2) This Week: -24.5 @ BYU (5-5):
  1. Arizona Wildcats (7-3) This Week: -1 vs. Utah (7-3):
  1. James Madison Dukes (10-0) This Week: -9 vs. Appalachian State (6-4): PFT being the guest picker on GameDay is something I truly never expected. Him missing Pat McAfee’s Kick-For-100-Racks (the best segment currently on TV) WAS something I expected.
  1. Tulane Green Wave (9-1) This Week: -9 @ Florida Atlantic (4-6):
  1. Liberty Flames (10-0) This Week: -27.5 vs. UMass (3-7):
  1. Toledo Rockets (9-1) This Week: -9.5 @ Bowling Green (6-4) (32-31 Win. TUES):
  1. Kansas State Wildcats (7-3) This Week: -7.5 @ Kansas (7-3):
  1. North Carolina Tar Heels (8-2) This Week: +6.5 @ Clemson (6-4): #Fuck the points.
  1. Kansas Jayhawks (7-3) This Week: +7.5 vs. Kansas State (7-3): #Fuck the points. Part 2.
  1. Tennessee Volunteers (7-3) This Week: +10 vs. Georgia (10-0): Remember the game Georgia just played against Ole Miss? The same exact thing. But one team will be wearing Orange this week.
  1. Iowa Hawkeyes (8-2) This Week: -3 vs. Illinois (5-5): This game won’t be as ugly as many think. The Hawkeyes are (probably?) B10 Championship bound!
  1. Iowa State Cyclones (6-4) This Week: +7.5 vs. Texas (9-1): #Fuck the points. Hat trick.
  1. North Carolina State Wolfpack (7-3) This Week: +3 @ Virginia Tech (5-5): MJ Morris has had enough. Welcome back, Brennan Armstrong. #YouAreNotHim
  1. Oklahoma State Cowboys (7-3) This Week: -7 @ Houston (4-6): Sometimes it is way too easy. Shoutout John Rhys Plumlee.

Obviously not typical…

Rankings are Rankings! Next week will be the usual. Enjoy the games.

200 years too late.

Be Well.
